Estudio Surf 2

We had a great stay here and would absolutely come back. The studio is simple, clean, and thoughtfully set up, and the location is truly unbeatable. You’re about a 60-second walk to the beach, and when you step out the front door you’re surrounded by some of the best dining in Punta Mita, especially Mina and La Rustica. The studio worked perfectly for us. It has two twin beds that can easily be pushed together to make a king. We also rented the main house next door, and having both spaces so close together was very convenient. Right next to the studio is Apache's Tours, which made renting surfboards and planning activities incredibly easy. We did surf lessons and a fishing trip with him, caught over 10 fish, and by the end of the lesson we were catching waves on our own. Highly recommend. Being so close to everything was a huge plus. For our excursions, we literally just walked across the street to the harbor. Overall, this place is an ideal home base if you want to walk everywhere,

My stay at Estudio Surf 2 was unfortunately not satisfactory due to the way an unexpected security situation in the area was managed. During my stay there was a serious incident that required guests to remain inside the property for safety reasons. While this was outside the host’s control, the communication from the concierge service created unnecessary confusion and stress. On several occasions I was informed that Puerto Vallarta airport was completely closed. However, according to official sources and the actual operation of flights, the airport remained open, including on the day of my departure. This inaccurate information made it difficult to plan my exit from the area. Despite requesting assistance in advance, no transportation to the airport was arranged and I ultimately had to organize it myself as a foreign visitor unfamiliar with the region. Clear communication and reliable support were lacking during my stay.
